At LearnWell, we believe providing easy access to counseling services for all students with mental health needs is critical to supporting student success in academics and beyond. Up to 49% of students may face an underlying mental health condition. However, research shows up to 80% of students experiencing anxiety and 60% of students experiencing depression will go untreated. Limited availability and access to mental health treatment presents a significant risk for students, families and school communities.

LearnWell Counseling Services:
Are paid for by insurance providers:
Clinicians who partner with LearnWell accept Medicare and many common insurance providers, which dramatically reduces the cost burden on families and school districts.
Are designed for easy access and flexibility:
Our Virtual Counseling platform provides easier access to quality behavioral health care. Traditional barriers to treatment, such as inclement weather or difficulties with transportation, can easily be avoided using our platform. Virtual Counseling sessions can occur at the child’s home; however, we also encourage districts to consider making space available in the school building to accommodate students who lack connectivity, devices or privacy to conduct sessions. Counseling sessions are available in-person in certain geographies.
Are designed with student data privacy and security in mind:
Parental consent must be obtained before any student receives LearnWell services. LearnWell’s platforms for Virtual Counseling, Virtual Academics During Mental Health Treatment, and Virtual Tutoring are compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
