For Hospitals
Although the COVID-19 crisis has limited non-essential staff from accessing most hospitals and facilities, LearnWell continues to support educational programming for students during treatment. Learn more about how we’re providing virtual instruction and daily printable lesson materials for hospitalized students at all of our partner hospitals and facilities.
For Districts
As districts shift to distanced-learning platforms amidst the COVID-19 crisis, we know that not every student is able to engage with traditional online learning and may require individualized support due to a range of academic and behavioral needs. LearnWell draws upon 25 years of experience working with the behavioral health population, and can help students who may struggle being homebound for this extended period of time. The COVID-19 virus has limited staff access at most hospitals and presents new obstacles to supporting the academic progress of students receiving treatment. However, during this time of crisis, LearnWell will continue to provide daily instruction at participating hospitals. Our teachers provide up to 60 minutes of group instruction per day through videoconference or teleconference. The LearnWell state-certified teacher will work with the student virtually, coordinate schoolwork and provide daily instruction.
For Families
We know that not every student is able to engage with traditional online learning and may require individualized academic support, especially for those with anxiety, depression or other behavioral health needs.
During the COVID-19 crisis, LearnWell is providing families additional resources for children out of school for an extended period of time. LearnWell has over 25 years of experience working with the behavioral health population, and can help students who may struggle academically while they are homebound for this extended period of time.
