LearnWell Names Ardena White as Vice President of District Mental Health Partnerships
“Ardena has worked as a leader in public education and the private sector for 25 years,” said LearnWell’s CEO, Collin Earnst. “She brings a strong reputation for her commitment to ensuring academic achievement and equity, as well as her understanding of how to help districts improve the teaching and learning environment. We are delighted to have her join the LearnWell team.”
LearnWell partners with K-12 school districts, hospitals and treatment facilities, and families to support students’ mental health wellness through service offerings such as the following:
Virtual Counseling services for students with emerging mental health needs and students recently discharged from mental health treatment. In-person counseling is also available in selected geographic areas.
Virtual and in-person academics during mental health treatment, which includes obtaining the student’s assignments and delivering personalized instruction and academic structure throughout their treatment.
One-to-one virtual tutoring services to support students at-risk of falling behind due to mental health needs and to help students to stay on pace with classmates following mental health treatment.
As LearnWell’s Vice President of District Mental Health Partnerships, White will shepherd the future development and management of relationships within school districts and their surrounding communities.
Prior to joining LearnWell, White served as Regional Vice President, Central Region for Centegix. Before that, she spent 16 years at McGraw-Hill Education serving in a variety of roles from sales representative, district manager, and ultimately Senior Director, National Urban Equity Team. White began her career as a special education teacher and consultant for Inkster Public Schools.
In accepting the position White shared, “I am excited and honored to serve in this new role as we work shoulder-to-shoulder with school communities and other organizations to navigate the mental health challenges students face. Our charge is to support students’ ongoing learning goals throughout their continuum of mental health care.”
